Roof line and Eves
Our most popular choice when it comes to decorating your roof line and eves is the C7 LED bulb. The old traditional C7 incandescent lights use 5-7 watts per bulb. The new C7 LED bulbs only use 1 watt per bulb, are much brighter and the colors are more vibrant than the old style bulbs. C7's are more affordable and give off the same amount of light as the C9's . Many companies don't offer incandescent lights anymore.
Every light bulb we hang on your house is clipped to ensure your lights look clean and are symmetrically aligned.
C7 & C9 Color Options
Light Wire
We use high quality commercial grade lights to ensure your investment will last the longest. We purchase the lights in 1000 ft spools, measure the roof line, pitches, eves and cut the wire to fit your house perfectly. We then wire in all the sections and hide the connecting wires as best as we can. Light Clips
We use plastic clips on your home to attach the lights to the gutters, shingles or tiles. This helps us avoid using staples or nails to attache the lights to the roof line and eves. We prefer to avoid putting unnecessary holes in your house when possible. |
trees, shrubs and bushes
When decorating trees there are two styles that we focus on. The canopy wrap uses larger C7 or C9 commercial grade bulbs and wire that are spaced 24 - 30 inches apart. The spiral wrap uses commercial grade wide angle lights that are spaced out 6 inches. Shrubs and bushes can use either light style but we recommend using the wide angle lights.
Wide Angle Mini Lights

CANOPY WRAP
This style uses larger C7 or C9 LED bulbs that are spaced out 24 - 30 inches. This larger amount of spacing makes the tree look like the lights are randomly placed in the tree. The trunk of the tree is then tightly wrapped with wide angle LED mini lights to emphasize the trunk of the tree. The canopy wrap looks great on pine trees and large deciduous trees.
This style of lighting is typically only offered by professional lighting companies because the product is not sold in your local stores. Canopy wraps are a little more expensive because of the larger LED bulbs used to create this specific effect.

SPIRAL WRAP
This style uses the smaller wide angle mini lights. These lights are spaced out every 6 inches on the wire. When hung on the tree each wrap is spaced out every 1 - 2 feet depending on the size of the tree. You can typically see a spiral looking pattern on the trees using this method.
The lights used are commercial grade lights that carry a 3 season warranty but typically last longer if they are properly maintained and stored properly. The wide angle LED mini lights are extremely vibrant in color.
